Tohshin Seiki has established itself as a specialized roller manufacturer for bearings.
Our outstanding “Tohshin technology” has been refined into a unique technology by competing not only with competitors but with ourselves adhering to our own standards. Since our founding, we strive to manufacture products that are trusted by major bearing manufacturers. In our relentless pursuit of high precision, we imposed strict standards on ourselves and we came to realize that to attain the precision we needed, we would need to create the machines ourselves, which led to the development of our own machine tools. This is the origin of Tohshin Technical.
Tohshin Technical took the processing technology and knowledge cultivated in Toshin Seiki and developed machine tools which came to be sold externally.
With our development capabilities, we aim to bring the Tohshin brand to the forefront. In a sense, it is playing a cutting-edge role for the group.
In January of 2023, Tohshin Group, with the objective of strengthening the group’s management as well as creating a synergy among the group companies leading to more efficiency in business activities, implemented a business restructuring making Tohshin Corporation the management company (holding company).
In preparation for this “new era after Covid,” Tohshin will deepen its “large family altruistic spirit” approach and will aim to promote agile, flexible decision making with its integrated company operations.
